APRIL 13TH -17TH OUR EXTRAORDINARY WOMAN OF THE WEEK IS
KATHLEEN DAHILL FROM WESTERLY.
Kathleen is an award-winning composer/lyricist, recording artist and poet for peace. She refined her musical skills at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge and the ASCAP and BMI musical theater workshops in New York. A graduate of Emerson College, Kathleen’s plays and musical works have been performed throughout New England. Ms. Dahill received the Connecticut Best Original Production award for her musical Siblings and composed music for Wanna Bet? a review about the impact of gambling commissioned by the State of Connecticut.
She has given inspirational and music healing concerts in Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Alaska, and Ireland. Formerly the chairperson of the Voice Department at the Community Music School in Connecticut, Kathleen teaches voice and conducts music healing workshops at health facilities throughout New England.
